Fleeting Light in The Red Rock Secret Wilderness
December in Sedona, AZ. It had rained for much of the day and there were dark clouds in every direction. As the afternoon wore on, the sun would break through the clouds for just a moment and then be obscured again for half an hour. These are the times when patience can pay off if you’re prepared. I knew that this general location had a great view of the distant red rocks, so while I waited for the light to return, I explored the area and found this view from a small hill.
